Calatagan in Batangas is a marine reserve, protected by the Samahan ng Maliliit na mga Mangingisda sa Calatagan (SAMMACA). About 66.5 percent of the reefs are classified as good corals with Hawksbill turtles known to nest at the Pagapas Bay. Dolphins are usually sighted in the area.

 

For those who want a noble experience, try mangrove tree planting in Calatagan, Batangas. One can take a look at all 15 species of mangroves as well as sea creatures, a treat for tourists who want to be reconnected with nature. For those who want to take a closer look, bamboo bridges have been put up at the Calatagan Mangrove Forest Conservation Park. You can also get a nice view of the mangroves and the pristine beaches that surround them through the area’s guardhouses. Also have a healthy seafood buffet lunch at the bamboo raft after or before the Tree Planting Activities.

The small town of Caramoan is located at the tip of Caramoan Peninsula, a rugged place of land extending into the waters of the Maqueda Channel on the North and East and Lagonoy Gulf on the South.The Caramoan Peninsula has gained tourism popularity in recent years. After the place has been featured in the news and local television programs, local and foreign travelers started to explore the beaches of the peninsula. Caramoan is one of the National Parks of the Philippines. Popular tourist destinations are the Caramoan National Park, the Centro, and Gota Beach, and popular activities include diving, swimming, snorkeling and spelunking.

Bolinao is one of the most enchanting destination blessed with nature. Tour starts in visiting the centuries old St. James Church, then the Monastery of St. Claire for your prayer request. Experience the refreshing water falls of Bolinao 1 and 2. Enjoy Healthy all Filipino and Native Pangasinan meals. Visit the oldest Bakawan in the province during a romantic river tour. Help in the conservation of environment by planting mangroves. Enjoy the benefit of this endeavors by snorkeling in their coral forest inside the Marine Protected Area. All the participants are encourage to bring their own life vest and donate them to the local fisher folks after the tour.
